WORKSHOP
Mushimaru Fujieda's workshop has been developed with the aim of conceiving the unique dance of each individual participant through the movement of the body to rhythmic breathing.

He has held workshops for more than 20 years in Japan, Europe, South Korea, USA, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Phillipines and India.
His methods are also effective for liberating the mind and body.
PERIOD - SOLO DANCE
Mushimaru Fujieda created new Butoh dance piece `period` to celebrates the 45 years anniversary of his artistic work. Simply it can be said just a walking itself. This piece describes about a life of a man who has been keep walking through the long distance of his life in the light and under the shadow.

MUSHIMARU FUJIEDA (BIO)
Dancer, Choreographer, Director
Born in Aichi Prefecture of Japan, 1952. Began drama '72. Belonged to drama company "Ishin-ha" '78-'89.Became independant '89.Thereafter, as a solo performer of numerous performances inside and outside of Japan.
After receiving the highest praise from American poet, the late Mr. Allen Ginsburg in N.Y. City, Mushimaru gave himself the name "Natural Physical Poet", and since has produced, with his unique style, various dance works.
Awarded the "Most Excellent Improvised Dance " prize of Tobita
Drama Award '97.
