About the workshop
A workshop with the choreographer Dafi Altabeb focused on the ways she creates. Her origins for creation, the tools she uses in order to invent new material from the dancers she works with.
Threw different exercises, games & improvisation, the dancers will experience sort of a lab of creation threw the ways we uses in the studio to create our personal, emotion & delicate material.

Dafi Altabeb
Winner of the Culture Minister Award for Young Artist in Dance for 2012, 2013, 2016. Winner of the 2014 Rosenblum Prize for being a promising artist. Graduate of the School of Dance Arts of Kibbutzim College of Education. Holds a B.Ed. And a teaching certificate specializing in composition and movement writing. She has been a choreographer since 2005.
She began her career in ‘Gvanim Bamachol,’ ‘Intimadance’ and ‘Haramat Masach.’ She performs throughout the world with her works and conducts master workshops. Last summer she was invited to create an original work for the AD Dance Festival. Artistic director and choreographer of the "Dafi Altabeb Dance Group" together with Nini (Nitzan) Moshe, artistic partner for creativity and life. Dafi Altbeb and group members conduct repertoire workshops for students and professional dancers throughout Israel as well as activities for children on the connection between music and dance.
Altabeb is supported by the Department of Dance at the Culture Administration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Tel Aviv Municipality and the Yehoshua Rabinowitz Foundation. She has just begun her new work for eight dancers that will be presented on September 15-16, 2017.
