About Rachel:

About 4 years ago, Rachel transitioned from a successful law career in New York to dedicating herself to yoga, health and wellness. After curing a herniated disc, developed from sitting at her old law firm desk, through frequent yoga practice, yoga went from being a respite from everyday life to so much more – it was how to find balance, stability, health and happiness. Leaving her old desk behind and diving in, Rachel has already earned over 1000 hours of teacher training under the guidance of master teachers in New York. She is honored to have taught in numerous Yoga studios in New York, including Yoga Vida and on Good Morning America’s “Tone in 20” and at the Solstice in Times Square.

Rachel values creativity, flow, alignment and self-discovery. Her classes are fun, flowy and usually with carefully curated music. Typically the classes are sequenced energetically and intelligently in a way that helps her students reach peak or challenging pose. Her background honors the traditions of Yoga, most specifically Hatha & Iyengar and merges it with a modern style (for western bodies) flow created by Yoga Shanti. Rachel has experience teaching all types of people including: pregnant, post-natal, young, old, experienced and beginner students. Her classes are considered welcoming and safe for all. Rachel is excited to bring her NY style flow to all her new students in Tel Aviv!
