Lissa Manetsch-Dorokhin, was born in Switzerland.
Graduated in 2001 from the Balletschool of the Zurich Opera ( SBBS).
Winner of the prestigious scholarship ( 3 years in row) of the MIGROS culture ministry.
Joined The junior company of Maurice Bejart in 2001 – 2004.
Since 2005 a member ( soloist) of the ISRAEL BALLET.
Teaching ballet classes and master classes all over the country.
Teaching ballet at the school of arts Thelma yellin, Giv’atayim
Artistic director and advisor of the Tel Aviv municipality project “ klassikal”.

It is important to me to give my students the feeling that they are not only working with their bodies but also build a good knowledge and have answers on the “whys and what’s” in the classical ballet. It is very important that my students will understand their own possibilities. I was trained by the very best teachers around the world and I got enormous knowledge through them. It is time for me to pass this knowledge on.
I challenge my students cause I feel they are more capable of what they actually think they are. It is my job to make them understand how good they are and to enjoy their knowledge.
