Olivia’s class consists of a combination of dynamic release techniques and floor work. Some of the basic principles which are constantly worked with are: using the floor as a main tool to find smoothness and different sources for movement, continuous movement flow, awareness of musicality inside the movement, using the center of the body as a motor to discover movement, being on and off balance, finding the clearness between resting and exploding moments, using principle of arching and spiraling.

The class wants to focus on increasing the physical awareness in order to be able to work with his individual limits and keep the body safe. Trusting the body, allowing the body to express, finding freedom to find new impulses and sources for new qualities.
The class will start with passive exercises wakening up, unlocking and lengthening the body. We will use the weight of the body to move on the floor and across the space. Afterwards we will mainly focus on a phrase of energetic and physical movements.
