I took my first Yoga class in 2014, to help treat back and knee pain after years as a dancer. My background in dance gave me an understanding of body and movement, but Yoga helped me make the connection between body, mind and spirit. I fell in love with the practice immediately.
The physical and mental practice of Yoga benefits both the body and the spirit, bringing balance and peace into day to day life, and this is what I teach. My technique combinnes traditional breathing exercises, meditation and philosophy along with a challenging flow sequence which develops strength and flexibility.
I draw influences from Ashtanga and Rocket Yoga (a challenging, dynamic practice which focuses on inversions and arm balances).
