Your body is a gateway to healing and creativity!
Every yoga asana is a very individual expression of YOUR body. In this workshop, you will explore your very unique mind-body connection and work towards finding your very own yoga practice that suits your body type.
Through movement and feeling the inner body we can create a new perspective onto ourselves. The more we move, the more we invite openness, strength, mobility, and creativity into our body. And the more consciously we move, the more integrity and healthy movement patterns we create! The practice in this workshop will show you how to sustainably increase your flexibility. The movements will bring mobility to your joints while keeping them healthy in the long run. The workshop will help you develop more body awareness, while we create more space for free movement in the joints, tendons and connective tissues.
By creating more SPACE, you will eventually be able to find more relaxation in the sophisticated yoga postures and make room for breathing. By deepening and relaxing the breath, we can immerse ourselves in the meditative aspect of yoga to finally let body and soul merge and LET GO!
You can expect a 2-hour yoga journey, in which you can explore your patterns of movement and will eventually reprogram them. We practice a combination of innovative, fluid movements, traditional yoga postures and longer Yin Yoga poses.
No prior knowledge is required. The workshop is specifically recommended for people who have movement restrictions, or who think that they are "too inflexible" for yoga. 😉 This workshop is also intended for die-hard yogis and teachers who want to creatively expand their practice and debunk outdated yoga-myths.
Join Mascha Kuchejda for this workshop in which you will explore your very individual mind-body connection and movement patterns. The more you connect to you body, inviting both control and surrender, you create a deeper relationship to mind and breath, where we delve deeper into the path towards consciousness as this ascends through the body.
Mascha Kuchejda (Ma Shiva Yoga) is a yoga teacher and movement specialist, originally from Berlin. She has over 10 years of teaching experience and her goal is to bring something new to the yoga world. With this intention, she created MOVEMENT IS MEDICINE, a mobility-based workshop to help work towards debunking some of the old “yoga myths” and give students and teachers more confidence in developing their own intuitive practice.
