FAQ

Getting Started

What's right for me if I'm a beginner and have never danced or practiced before?

It's a great place to start. Try, commit, and come whenever you have time. With a little luck, you'll find the teacher and the movement that take you forward.

Do I need to bring special equipment?

Please come in comfortable clothing — sweatpants/shorts/leggings.

Ballet — bring socks.

Hip-hop/Zumba/Fitness — sneakers.

Yoga/Pilates — it's always good to bring a mat, but we have them here too.

Do I need to register for classes in advance?

You need to register for classes in advance through our "Studio Naim" app. The registration guidelines are detailed here.

What should I know before my first class?

It's good to arrive 5-10 minutes before the class, and it helps to let the teacher know it's your first time. That way we can help you feel comfortable.

Can I bring a friend to a class?

Gladly. You can send them a link to register for a trial class on the schedule, and they're welcome to join.

What is the minimum age?

The studio is a safe space for adults, and the minimum age for entry is 18. Feel right at home.

What do the class levels mean?

Most classes are open to all levels. In certain classes, especially reformer Pilates, the level is marked with letters: A for beginners, B for continuing, and C for advanced. When there's no letter, the class is open to everyone.

About the Studio

What are the differences between the various studios?

We currently have 16 studios in different locations across the country — Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Haifa, Ramat HaSharon, and Petah Tikva. For details click here.

How many people are in a class?

Our studio is very large, with plenty of spaces. This allows for very large classes and very small ones. We match the space to the class size so there's room for everyone, and we're constantly adding more classes. We currently have over 1,000 classes per week.

What types of training do you offer?

We offer yoga (from Ashtanga and Iyengar to Tantra and Kundalini), meditations (including Rebirthing and Mindfulness), Feldenkrais, fitness (including Movement, aerial, and running), reformer and mat Pilates, and many styles of dance (Gaga, Contact, Twerk, and more). The membership includes access to all branches.

Are there lockers and showers?

Yes. There are lockers at all branches and showers at most facilities.

Is there a sauna and ice bath area (hot-cold)?

Yes. Our hot-cold area, which includes a sauna and an ice bath, is located at our Yafo branch (Ben Gamliel 12). It's open Sunday to Thursday from 08:00 to 20:00 and Friday until 13:00. Entry is free for members, and 50₪ without a membership.

Is there a community acupuncture clinic?

Yes. We have a community acupuncture clinic at reduced rates for members, at our Frankel 30 branch in Tel Aviv.

Can I rent a studio?

Yes. You can rent studio spaces from us. All the details are on the rentals page.

Where are dance classes held?

Our dance classes are held in Tel Aviv (Even Gvirol and Salame), Haifa (Namal), Ramat Gan (Bialik), and Ramat HaSharon.

Memberships

I want to try but don't want to commit. Where do I start?

There's no commitment! The membership is a recurring standing order that renews each month. You can cancel with one month's notice, and during the first month no notice is required at all. We recommend starting with a basic membership and trying as many things as possible.

Can I come for a trial class or a few classes?

Of course. A trial class costs 40₪ (one per person). A single class costs 80₪. The best option is simply to start with a basic membership — there's no commitment, and you can decide what suits you at the end of the month.

Can I start in the middle of the month?

Yes. Our memberships are calendar-based — from the start of a month to the end of it. The first charge will be prorated based on the number of days remaining in that month.

How do I change my membership type or payment details?

You can update membership details (membership type, credit card, personal info) through the details update form on our site.

Is there a limit on the number of classes per week?

The only limit applies to reformer Pilates classes — an extended membership is required, which allows two reformer sessions per week (we have certain studios where this limit doesn't apply — Haifa, Ramat Gan, and Mendele in Tel Aviv). Beyond that, everything is unlimited.

Can I pay in cash?

No. The membership is a standing order by credit card only.

Does the membership grant access to all the studios?

The membership grants access to all our studios. Gym access is available for an additional 39₪ per month. The extended membership also includes access to reformer Pilates classes.

Is this an annual membership?

No. It's a monthly recurring membership on standing order (no installments, and we don't hold any credit limit).

Can I share a membership or punch card with someone else?

No, memberships are personal.

If I only want to do yoga/dance/Pilates, which membership suits me?

The basic membership.

What if I only want to do reformer Pilates without the other classes..

The extended membership is priced so that even if you only come to those classes, you're paying the lowest price we can offer. Everything else comes as a bonus.

It sounds amazing, but I can't afford it..

We price in a way that allows us to sustain the studio, our staff, and our teachers — while giving maximum value for the price. It matters to us that you're able to practice, and if it still doesn't work out financially, talk to us. We have a discounted "it's tough for me" rate.

Do I need to come in person to sign up?

It's best to sign up through our website, though you can also do it by phone. When you arrive at one of our branches, we'll already know you.

Is a membership required, or can I pay per class / with a punch card?

You can pay for a single class or a punch card. We understand the hesitation around anything called a "membership," but it's important to stress — there's no commitment, no fees, and it's much more cost-effective. Just come and try.

I'm a soldier and want to come to a class once every two weeks / I'm a professional dancer who needs to train here and there between projects. What suits me?

Our 24-entry punch card will be a good fit.

How much does a membership cost?

We have 4 monthly memberships: Gym only 179₪, Limited (4 classes per month) 219₪, Unlimited (unlimited studio classes) 339₪, and Extended (including reformer Pilates and gym) 449₪. The membership grants access to all our branches. On the Limited and Unlimited memberships you can add gym access for an extra 39₪.

What is the Extended membership?

The Extended membership (449₪ per month) is our most comprehensive plan: unlimited studio classes, unlimited gym access, reformer Pilates, and access to 'Naim at Home' online.

Do you have punch cards?

Yes. A 10-class card for 700₪ (valid 3 months) and a 24-class card for 1,300₪ for studio classes, or 1,600₪ including reformer Pilates (valid 8 months). If you haven't been with us yet, we recommend simply starting a membership. There's no commitment and it's more cost-effective.

Gym

Do you have a gym?

Yes! We have gyms at our Florentin, Yafo, two in Ramat Gan and one in Petach Tikva.

Access is an additional 39₪ per month on top of the regular membership. More details.

Do you offer personal training?

Yes, we offer personal training sessions at the gym. Details and prices.

How much is a gym-only membership?

A gym-only membership costs 179₪ per month. If you already have a studio membership, you can add gym access for an extra 39₪ per month.

Cancellations & Freezes

How do I cancel my membership?

Membership cancellation is done through the cancellation form on our site. One month's advance notice is required. New members (who weren't at the studio before) can cancel without notice at the end of their first month.

Can I freeze my membership?

Yes. You can freeze once a year for one week at no cost. Each additional freeze costs 25₪ per two weeks (for example, a month-long freeze costs 50₪). Freezes due to a medical condition (with a doctor's note) or reserve duty (with orders) are free. You can fill out the freeze form on our site.

Gift Cards

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! You can purchase a gift card directly through our website.

Our 4-Pack is a lovely gift for someone you love, and a beautiful invitation into a journey of movement, presence, and feeling good.

Class Registration

How do I register for a class?

Class registration is done through the "Studio Naim" app. Registration opens one week in advance. It's important to register early, as spots are limited.

What happens if I registered for a class but didn't show up?

If you didn't cancel your registration in time, the entry counts as if you attended. It's important to cancel through the app if you know you won't make it, so you free up space for others.

What happens if I'm late to class?

Please arrive up to 5 minutes before the class starts. If you registered but didn't make it on time, we can't guarantee your spot.

Where can I see the class schedule?

The full schedule is available on our website and in the "Studio Naim" app. You can filter by branch, class type, and day.

How does the waitlist work?

If a class is full, you can join the waitlist through the app (one class per day). When a spot opens up you'll get a push and email notification, and you have 10 minutes to register before the system moves on to the next person in line.

Until when can I cancel a class booking?

Cancellations are done through the app: for morning classes (until 15:00) up to 12 hours before, and for evening classes (from 15:00) up to 3 hours before. If you don't cancel in time, the booking counts as an entry. Not showing up to 2 classes within 7 days results in a 3-day block on advance booking, though you can still attend on a space-available basis. All registration guidelines are detailed here.

How many classes can I book per day?

On the Unlimited membership you book one class per day in advance, and you can attend additional classes on a space-available basis. For reformer Pilates on the Extended membership you can book twice a week in advance, and for other reformer Pilates classes booking opens one hour before the class.
