Miriam Peri

Nice to meet you! I'm Miriam. I came to yoga after the army as part of a search for self-definition. After years of disconnection from my body and lack of attention, a deep intuition signaled that I had found a home. I'm captivated by the philosophy and the immense body wisdom within yoga, and by the practice's deep capacity to include all my layers and dimensions. I've graduated two teacher training courses — Ashtanga and Vinyasa — and completed many workshops with amazing teachers, including yoga therapy, anatomy-pathology, prenatal and postnatal yoga, and many deepening classes. Through working with diverse populations I see how much yoga belongs to everyone, and I'm in constant pursuit of professional development and precision in my practice and teaching. I feel how insights from learning and practice gently permeate my life and enrich every aspect of it. From my classes I want you to leave feeling that you've deepened your acquaintance with your body through attention to small details, more connected and closer to your internal center — physical, respiratory, and mental.
