פרויקט 48 שעות הוא הראשון מסוגו בתחום המחול בארץ, ובמסגרתו יעלו 10 עבודות מחול מקוריות, קצרות וחד פעמיות בשני סבבי יצירה בני 24 שעות כל אחד.
ביום רביעי ה12.6 תתקיים הגרלה בה יחולקו היוצרים לחמישה צוותים, יעבדו במהלך הלילה בסטודיו נעים ויציגו את היצירה ביום חמישי למחרת בערב. לאחר מכן תתקיים הגרלה נוספת וחמישה יצירות נוספות יעלו באותה מתכונת ביום שישי.

היוזמה לפרוייקט התעוררה בהשראת פרוייקטים דומים בקולנוע ובתיאטרון, ומתוך עניין לרענן את הפורמטים הקיימים הן ליצירה והן להצגה של מחול.
בפרוייקט יקחו חלק קרוב ל30 אמנים יצירתיים, הרפתקנים ונפלאים: 10 יוצרים (כוריאוגרפים, דרמטורגים ובימאים), כ-16 רקדנים, ושותפים נוספים ליצירה מתחום המוסיקה, התאורה, הצילום ועוד.
הפרויקט הוא יוזמה של הכוריאוגרפית דנה רוטנברג ובהפקה משותפת עם סטודיו נעים ועמותת הכוריאוגרפים.

Project 48
Project 48 invites choreographers, dramaturgs, dancers and other Artists on a 48 hour “speed-blind-date” culminating in 2 performances of 5 one-time-only dance works (created in two 24 hour sessions.
The project was inspired by preceding projects in Film, Theater and Architecture.
The game consists of two 24 hour “rounds” of creation: An initial raffle determines the creative teams. Each group includes a choreographer, a “Second Eye” (Dramaturg/Director) and a varying number of dancers. Next, the parameters for creation are drawn. These include spatial and thematic constrictions/challenges. Each group has 24 hours to create a dance work to be performed the next evening in front of you!
The rehearsal project will documented by a photographer and videographer. Videos from the rehearsal studios will be streamed live here on the event page, and still images will be showcased for the audience pre-show.
Project 48 is a joint production of Dana Ruttenberg Dance Group, Studio Naim and the Choreographers’ Association
