Clinestanics is a strength and fitness training method that is based only on body weight, without external weights or machines. The class includes exercises such as Pull-ups, Push-ups, Squats, Plunks, Dips, and more advanced exercises such as Muscle-up or Front Lever. The method was originally developed in ancient Greece (the name is derived from the Greek, “kalos” beauty + “sthenos” strength), and nowadays is an effective, flexible training experience that can be done anywhere.

The workout builds functional strength, muscle mass, flexibility, endurance and body control. It is considered one of the healthiest and safest types of exercise because it forces the practitioner to build stability and control before progressing to complex exercises. The lesson is suitable for all levels, and the intensity of each exercise can be adjusted according to the ability of the practitioner (for example, push-ups on the knees for beginners).
