Mandala Meditation

"This is one of the East's contributions to the world: the understanding that between these two eyes there is a third eye within, which remains dormant most of the time.
A person needs to work hard and bring all sexual energy upward, against gravity, and when the energy reaches the third eye, it opens. When that energy opens, there is a flash of understanding, and things that were never understood become understood.
For this you cannot use these two eyes — they only know how to look outward. They need to close. Who sees your thoughts? Not these eyes. Who sees the anger rising in you? This is the place that sees beyond, called symbolically: the Third Eye." // Osho // This meditation lasts about an hour, four stages of 15 minutes each.
Every circle contains a center. In the first three stages of this energetic and powerful technique, "centering" is the goal — by creating a circle of energy. Then, in the fourth stage: release, silence, and witnessing.
Stage 1: 15 minutes
With open eyes, run in place, starting slowly and gradually faster and faster. Raise your knees as high as possible. Deep breathing at a steady rhythm will move the energy within your body. Forget the mind and forget the body. Just keep moving without stopping.
Stage 2: 15 minutes
Sit with closed eyes and an open, relaxed mouth. Gently rotate your body from the waist — like a reed in the wind — side to side, forward and back, around and around as it happens naturally.
This will bring your energy and awareness to the navel center.
Stage 3: 15 minutes
Lie on your back with your head still. Open your eyes and rotate them clockwise. Start slowly, then gradually faster and faster. Your mouth stays open and your jaw relaxed, with soft, steady breathing.
This will bring concentrated energies to the "Third Eye" center.
Stage 4: 15 minutes
Close your eyes and be still.
