Power Yoga

Power yoga is a dynamic style of yoga, based on the vinyasa method (a sequence of postures synchronized with breathing), with an emphasis on strength work. In the lesson, strength exercises, core muscles are worked on, and challenging postures, such as postures on the hands, build physical and mental strength together. It's a varied and creative method, and the sequences vary according to the topic being worked on in the lesson.
The challenging poses invite the consciousness to focus on the present moment, through concentration, intention, attention and breathing. When we face the difficulties on the mattress, the possibility opens up for us to meet ourselves in the different situations and build, little by little, physical and mental resilience. At the same time, a sense of competence grows, the understanding that our body and mind have the tools to cope with challenging poses and situations, on and off the mattress.
When the body is strong, the mind is strong.
