Yoga Basics

A Fundamentals Yoga class is the soft and accessible entry into the world of yoga. The class is for those who have never practiced yoga, or for those who practice and want to strengthen their foundation. The pace is slow, the explanations are detailed, and the focus is on the correct learning of basic postures, of the principles of breathing and of listening to the body.

In the lesson, we will get acquainted with basic postures such as the mountain pose, the child's pose, the sun's greeting, the dog's pose down, standing postures and twists. We'll also learn how to work with our limitations, how to use props (bricks, straps) to reach the right posture, and how to build a permanent home practice. At the end of the class, you will feel relaxation, body connection, and confidence to go on to other yoga styles.
