Nazneen Abraham
I am Nazneen Abraham. I have been a yoga teacher for almost 11 years. Originally from India, I moved to Israel in 2018, where I continue to teach and practice yoga. I am also an avid believer in energy healing and hold a Reiki level 1 certificate. In recent years, as I dwelled deeper into my yogic journey, I set out to learn about Ayurveda. It seemed like the natural next step towards a wholesome life, so today I also hold an Ayurveda practitioner certificate.
As for my yoga classes, my approach is structured yet free flowing, blending mindful intention with progressive, accessible movement. My classes are designed to support every student, offering dynamic sequences for those who practice regularly, and thoughtful options for beginners or anyone working with health considerations.
I love to weave yogic principles into my lessons so they can be carried into daily life. Focusing on precise instruction, alignment, and an understanding of the benefits behind each practice, I intend to help build physical strength, mental clarity, and emotional stability for all.
Prayers and affirmations are things I have immense faith in, so I bring them to my classes regularly. Nothing overtly religious, just simple, short, grounding prayers. My personal practice and experience have taught me the importance of regulated mindful breathing, so season appropriate pranayamas, kriyas and mindful relaxation are standard features in my classes.
Over the years, I've grown more intuitive and confident as a teacher, reading the room and guiding each class with love and professionalism.
I truly hope to continue to grow and guide my students to cultivate more mindful, compassionate and courageous selves.
