For me, yoga is above all a tool for listening and presence — a way to return to ground and find stability within the storms of life. I found yoga after a serious back injury and discovered through it that I didn't know my body at all. Yoga helped me approach and explore body and mind, and through its tools I underwent a transformation that continues to this day. I see the practice as a holistic space and integrate tools and worlds I've encountered throughout my exploration and learning: Ashtanga-Vinyasa, Hatha, philosophy, and Ayurveda. I also have extensive experience holding sensitive spaces for trauma. In my classes I create a space that allows exploration of movement and breath from curiosity and presence, to enable closeness and love.
