Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a quiet and technically simple practice. On the physical level, Yin improves joint movement by releasing deep tissues — fascia, tendons, joints, and bones. On the energetic level, it works like acupressure for the organs, supporting the immune system and improving emotional state.

In practice we enter specific poses and stay in them for three to ten minutes. The challenge is in being present and keeping the mind alert. The practice is very meditative — we train to stay in the moment, observing without intervention. It is important to add static training to balance more active practices like Vinyasa, Ashtanga, running, or cycling.
